Description: Perma-plastic Emulsion is the best emulsion available. It is recommended for the decoration and protection of all interior and exterior surfaces, new brickwork, plaster, cement and all types of wallboard, also over old gloss paint, where a durable finish is desired. It is the best Low-Sheen emulsion.
Where To Use: Recommended for the decoration and protection of all interior and exterior surfaces, new brickwork, plaster, cement and all types of wallboard, also over old gloss paint.
Application: all surfaces must be clean and dry. Remove grease, oil or wax. Apply by roller or brush. Avoid excessive spreading. Allow 1 hour drying time between coats.
- New Work: no primer required on wallboard, dry wall construction or masonry. Wood surfaces should be primed with 1 coat Perma Cote Wood Primer followed by 1 or 2 coats Perma-Plastic Emulsion.
- Repaint: remove all loose, peeling or cracking paint, calcimine or distemper type water paints. Flaking, loose or powdery water paint or similar material must be removed as thoroughly as possible. If residue remains, apply a sealing coat masonry sealer followed by 1 or 2 coats.
Coverage: Approximately 350-450 square feet per U.S. gallon depending on porosity of surfaces.
Dry Time: 15 Minutes. Re-coat: 2 Hours
